Please zip any file before you send it. Different types of e-mail handle files differently and I have had a lot of problems recently with files which have been sent. Zipping seems to eliminate most of those problems. If you need a zip program - go to http://www.winzip.com for a free evaluation copy of winzip.
It is a requirement that all Gulf Swimming teams who host a meet use Hy-Tek’s Meet Manager for Windows.
Pre-meet Information:
Meet Invitations
All invitations are required to be submitted to the Gulf Swimming webmaster thirty days (30) prior to the date of the meet.
Please combine all information into a single information file. This single file will be posted on the Gulf website. This file can include maps, team lists, safety information, etc.
If you have Adobe Acrobat writer, it is o.k. if you go ahead and send a pdf file. If you do not have Adobe, then send the file as Microsoft word.
Meet Setup Files
All meet setup files should be sent at the same time as the invitation. Please submit to the Gulf Swimming webmaster a zipped hyv file created in Meet Manager for Windows.
Week of the meet:
Meet Timelines
Meet Timeline files should be exported from Meet Manager for Windows as an html file and sent to the webmaster no later than
3 days before the meet. Export this file to html and send it to the Gulf Swimming webmaster. If you have adobe acrobat you can also go ahead and send this as a pdf file.Meet Warmup/Timing Information
Meet Warmup/Timing should be sent at the same time as the timelines. You may send this as a word file, an Excel file or a pdf file..
Meet Results
Three files are required no later than three days after the conclusion of the meet. These files should be sent to the Gulf Swimming webmaster.
1) A zipped meet manager database
2) A zipped commlink file
3) Results report (3 column results either html or pdf)
